First of all you want to be sure to work with a BUYERS AGENT! If you contact the Realtor who's name is on the property listing the thing to remember is, they are WORKING FOR THE SELLER! Even if you find a home on your own, you want to have a buyers agent working FOR YOU! (That would be us) Our job as buyers agents is to get the best price for you and to do all of the background work on your behalf. (There is a lot more involved than most people think) The best thing is that it is of no cost to you (The SELLER pays the Realtor's comissions).
